  1. I've just taken delivery of a Waterproof Tester from China. It took nine days from placing the order to recieving it. I have given it a good look over and checked it for holding pressure, and it is a very well made piece of kit for the money. Import charges worked out at £23.76 making the overall cost £150.48 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271225089197?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

  2. I've seen a lot worse for a lot more. For £21.99 you can't really complain if it lasts a few months, then you can have the fun of fixing it! (you wont find any spares though). I would presume that he watcher resistance will only go to a very slightly damp day.

  3. Try fleabay particularly schillachi61 Stefan is a really good bloke. You may also find some stuff via Gleave & Co or Cousins in the UK (can't speak for other countries) they don't always list all the parts on their sites so e-mail them. If you need part numbers use J, Borell website here: http://cgi.julesborel.com although they don't list a great deal for this model. You may find a generic gasket to fit but if they are in good shape don't change them, just gently clean and use a little silicone grease on reassembly and don't get the watch wet. As for the crystal gasket take it apart to find out if it has one.

  4. Ooooo, I do like that, the dots indicate the time. It looks like the disk rotates with the hour dot and the minute dot is connected to an arm that bends around the edge of the disk. I would think you will have to pull these off before you can remove the dial. Without having it in front of me I can't suggest how to do it. Possibly there were special tools at the factory to do this. I await with interest.

  6. Pop the back off and have a look. Check the rotor screw is not loose and tighten if reqd. If this doesn't work check to see if the rotor is touching the caseback or movement or has any degree of play. If this is the case you will need to replace the rotor, which are readily available through most of the material houses normally listed as 'Oscillating Weight, Seiko 509.184' priced about £10. These are stamped 7S26B but will fit the 7S26A and most other 7XXX series movements.
