Hello,\ Thanks for all the help in getting this one out of the case and in letting the mainspring down. this is another first time for me, as I've not done a Japanese watch. it was a good experience! Here goes: The movement has just been cleaned at this point. This watch was running but had previously been over-oiled I thought about leaving the mainspring because I still haven't received the winder but when I saw the barrel I knew this one had to be cleaned.... very dirty! all clean I began the re-assembly: replace the balance... and now for the autowinder---this time I don't lose any parts and everything works out Now for the front: and the hands... Unfortunately the recasing gets me at a bad time and I struggle wit the tiny crown/stem replacement and lose some of the lume from the minute hand in the process...oh well. All in all a good learning experience,. I didn't realize it, butthis Seiko does not have a way to hand-wind because there is no crown wheel (winding pinion) that engages intermediate wheel to wind the barrel. All autowinding on this one.1 point
