Hello everyone! I'm new to watch repair and recently decided to bring an old Zenith from the '60s with a 126 movement back to life. It was running fine, but the stem was rusty, so I opened it up to replace it. While I was at it, I also disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated the movement. After reassembling everything, I tested it before installing the balance, and all the gears moved freely. However, once I put the balance in, it just won’t keep running. If I give it a shake or a gentle blow, it moves a couple of times and then stops. Any ideas on what might be wrong? Is the balance in bad shape ? I can see a small bent. I’d really appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance!

Hello I'm starting to service a vintage zenith with 2572PC movement in it. First problem is I can't seem to find a way to release the winder. This apperas to be the simplest type of relese system as a push down bolt is easily spotted. The point is it just doesn't release and this is where doubts come in... Am I missing something? In the attached image I'm trying to show what is unexpected to my unexperienced eyes. TIA Giuseppe

Hi Everyone, I found an old zentih gentlemen's watch with the words Batty Manchester on the clock face, located near 6. I can't seem to find anything on the internet that could shed more light. Does anyone know what it means? Is it the model name or source of manufacturing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Jesse
