Again not something I do very often just doing torsion clocks ( usually) but the odd times I have done it I found it easier to take a picture of the wheels & pinions expand to count the teeth , it’s much easier for me to do that at my age. Dell

Hi Jon and all, I meant the wheels are freely engaging with each other on the the pillar plate. I have a train bridge from a donor movement, that may help if it’s a Jewell problem thanks Tony

Is it possible to wash the dial with water?it has a patina, how to wash it properly?and how to wash the watch mechanism?

Lovely piece. Its a detached manual wind, standard grade movement which powered several brands of watches back in the days. One might get a Seiko 5, for what this watch fetches on the bay. I would not sell this beauty. Regs

You'd probably be better getting a Seiko 7019A, 7S26A or 7S36A.
