Hi Guys, I have repaired 1000's of Cuckoo clocks however this is the first time I have come across this movement. I know where it was made, want to have a go at it. It is a 1 day weight driven movement.

Yee Gods!!

The time you spend servicing that movement will be more than its worth.

I'm going to guess China, or somewhere else in Asia

I got a broken bike, you got this clock, with the lathe sitting there, we can make the worlds first pedal clock, this may divert attension from the clock.

Just an offer.

Well done wls1971, it was made in Japan. I did not repair it as it was easier to make the inside of the case fit a new German Regular movement that is of a bit better quality. Also added 2 new bellows as the originals had high pitch cuckoo and sounded terrible.
