Just thought you guys may like to know.

I was just browsing the net looking for pricing on some parts and noticed a sign on the Gleave & Co website saying that from 13th November it was becoming a Trade Only website !

Cousins do this also. They make a big piece about transactions being business to business and therefore not falling under the usual consumer trading regulations.

Ah I see -  that makes sense now.

Initially I thought they would only do business with VAT registered clients or something !

Yes and hobbyists are the worst thing for most material houses. Hence cousins policy. They would have to charge more to cover these smalls purchases and still make money.

You would think they would just alter their return policy and inspect movement prior to issuing a refund? If the movement is damaged, no refund should be issued.
