Hello, my name is John and have been semi-retired for 5 years. I have been interested in pocket watches and wristwatches for some time now.  I was trained in high school to be a classic repair shop/jobber machinist and spent my career in the mechanical trades, my last job used cranes to do engine disassembly now in my hobby I use tweezers for disassembly.

 I have learned a great deal from the videos Mark has posted and would like to keep learning new things from the wealth of knowledge possessed by Mark and the members here.

I have recently taken a 2 day pocket watch class (disassembly, cleaning and reassembly) at the NAWCC in Lancaster PA, USA and had a great time, our instructor Drew Zimmerman (CW21) was fabulous. Now I am addicted and buying tools.
