I am a very inept hobbyist even, but I think watchmaking is very interesting and takes years of patient practice! I want to make this watch work again. So it begins....It's been sitting in a shop for a couple years I'm sure! Seems like a welcoming forum! Pictured is a miyota JS26 movement.

I already took the case back off and tried unsuccessfully to remove the crystal with a press.
