Tonights Project

Had this mortima watch for a while, decided tonight was the time to have ago and get it on my wrist.

 

Luckily i had some staffs in my stash for this movement so i was able to replace the staff and get it ticking.

 

Ill put the full project on my blog as i usually do, however just thought id show it off here.

 

I kept the hands as is, i like the age, if they get any worse i will restore them otherwise got a new watch to wear work tomorrow :)

Amazing and cleaned up real good! Great job, jnash, the hands actually don't look too bad after all!

Very nice. The new crystal makes a big difference. Did you do anything to the dial ?
