Welcome to the forum - BUT, Senior Member's privileges mean that I'm going to have to take that from you...

You see, Jaeger LeCoultre is one of my favourite makes, may Dad was in the RAF - and my birth year is 1944...

Sorry about that - I'll PM you me address. :D

Welcome aboard the helpful horology forum stvn66.

That is a lovely vintage watch you have, I just knew Will would have a sticky moment when he saw that! :-)

Sorry.....I feel a bit of a 'plonker' now as this is my first post..........but this is a 1943 JLC not 1944 !

I am confusing it with my 1944 Omega HS8, perhaps this is actually better for Will as he won't 'need' it now :)

Oh boy, you should seriously consider to send all 3 far, far away from the people here...like Miami! :)

Your collection is fantastic!

Thanks, I suppose it is a good starting point for a research. I'm not familiar with timex at all from the watchmaking stand point that is. I've heard they are difficult to work on so I guess it would be a challenge I'm looking forward to tackle. I like the design so if I could restore one I will feel very proud wearing it!

Just learning one baby step at a time!

Cheers,

Bob
