Hi All, just wanted to quickly say hi.

My wife was given an old ladies watch by her aunt, winding gear appears to be mostly stripped.  So, several hundred $ later, that watch is still in a box as I'm afraid to take it apart at this time,.

I've bought movements & other parts and created several watches so far, just practicing/playing.

I've learned a lot so far, and learned pretty well that I don't know ANYTHING so far.

I guess that's a start?

Has anyone else grown a frickin tweezer fetish like I have?

Thank you for your introduction and welcome to this friendly forum.

The best tweezer's are Dumont, not cheap, they make handling watch parts easy. Start with a number 3 very popular, that is the ones I used for basic watch work.
