Ok, an update. I've attached some pics showing the dimensions of the crystal in question. As you can see it's quite thick at 4.9mm.
I haven't found a decent match yet with GS catalog, I may end up having to grab a few that are close and apply trial/error at this point.
Any recommendations from some of you with a heavy vintage Bulova background would be appreciated.
p.s. The bezel is in good shape but would not turn at all. Were these bezels fixed? It did come off after soaking it a while, along with a rubber gasket inside, which makes me believe it is supposed to turn and is held in place by a thick o-ring (?).
Thanks.
hello from minnesota, love to tinker with stuff, im 40, getting more stubborn lol, issues arise when i could pay someone to fix something for me,but i just never do it. always learning new skills
I damaged this watch years ago in a hot tub, took it apart and let it dry pretty quickly. but i am trying to repair it again and the second hand keeps stopping i finally pushed it past its stuck point on the 13 to 15 second point. it keeps time for 3 to 4 minutes , then jams again and it skips back and forth then stops and the minute hand stops moving with the seconds. not sure if its corrosion or the coil is bad. i cannot find another ronda 5030d with the same dials i would like to buy a repair kit on amazon if i can clean corrosion or replace the coils. but pretty since its a rare battlefield game watch id love to fix it. also my favorite game.
