Hi I have a Timex Tank square faced watch which I think is overwound. It has little monetary value but some sentimental value. Anyone know anywhere in UK that someone might look at it?

sounds like you have a super thin model.  Comes with a model 23 movement.    Not over wound,, rather just wound up and won't run.  A simple dunk and swish service typically gets these models going.  That is is you want to DIY.

Hi thanks for that I have no idea what a 'dunk and swish process's . Would like someone who knows what they are doing to have a look. Had a problem with it about 5 years back and sent it off to a guy in UK. He quickly sorted it but I cannot find his details
