Always loved watches. Had my first one when I was 4.

And I have always loved to know how things worked. Frankly, I am not real sure what took me so long to start pursuing the idea of repair.

I do know that I have a Timex from the 60's that is stuck. And this has gotten me interested in the idea of learning how to service all watches.

I figure that I know just enough to break it permanently right now. So I am going to study before doing anything to it.

Welcome to the group. I rather curious as to your first watch? When you're four years old something Has to be really really spectacular for you to remember. So what sort of watch does a four-year-old Have?
