My Sticky Ball Came Today

most useful tool, however mine has some cartoons on it so my nephews try to play with it and get annoyed when i say its a watch tool!

And on a more serious note, I've used different case openers for years, but not the sticky ball. Is it really that effective?

Mine has come in useful, even if you have to start off or finish with a Jaxa it makes the loose screwing much easier. (No Giggling)

 

Love the photo Will, good job we can't see your hands - cause and effect etc.  Though I have experienced a similar effect after a curry

Mine is a nice red one with a "Wee sheep riding a trike" on it. I've blown it up twice and it due for a third, not bad for three years hard use.

So just out of curiosity and because I wasdespera to get the back off of a Breitling without spending a fortune on their case opener sets, I picked up a sticky ball (red, but no sheep. Sorry Geo), and it worked like a charm. Case opened as smooth as with any tool I've used in a long time. Thanks for posting about this WillFly!

Complete Newbie here. Hi everyone!

 

My 2 x sticky balls arrived today from China, almost deflated for shipping easier.

 

I cannot blow them up, help please?

I used a blowgun on my compressor to blow up my ball.

There seems to be a stem on each ball, but it has been pushed inside the partly inflated ball, and will not come out again.

 

I can feel the valve/stem, but it will not come out!

That's the valve and it's not meant to come out. I just hold the nozzle if my blowgun against the hole and it works fine.

You can get a basketball pump from any sports shop for the job.
