another timex topic - movement holder

I got a box of fancy shaped watch crystals and there was a great disorder inside the box, i removed some debris and dust and reduced the great disorder to disorder and while i was doing it found two capsules text written on them: " TIMEX GREAT BRITAIN". What were these? My bet is on temporary movement holders when you bought a movement?

Hi Luiz   I think you are on the right track there,  are they marked Dundee

Nope, it only says " TIMEX GREAT BRITAIN". Nothing else. It was a surprise to find them among watch crystals.

my guess is not a movement holder.  most likely this was inserted into an outer bezel.
