Yo Jack - How you doin?  Thats just some North Jersey for ya.  So vintage Timex, what type and era?  Mechanical, auto wind, electric, electronic. dynabeat, back set.  Marlin, Mercury, 21 Jewels, Sprite, and that does not cover it all.

A question about a recent purchase. This 17 Jewel Timex has no identifying code on the face, that I can see. The inside of the case back also has no date mark. Dies this put the watch pre-1963? Thanks.

no that is from the 80's.
