Hi. I’m Jeff. I’ve been interested in watches my entire life and finally got the courage to get the tools and try to learn this set of skills.

I don’t have a specific model or make that I like most... I just find the mechanics interesting and beautiful and I’m amazed by the people who can design/build them from scratch.

My goal is really just to be able to do basic/simple repairs. Tear down, clean, rebuild (replace a part of needed).  And since I’m just starting, I’m trying now to figure out the best way to film teardowns so I know how to reassemble (yep, already made this mistake and am struggling to get one back together now).

Welcome to the forum.

There are techsheet available on some calibers, you may also find helpful walkthroughs on this forum.

Taking pix is always a good idea.
