I found this lot on Saturday for $50.  I'm counting 10 watches for $50.  404 club?  I'll have lots of questions on this lot.

The Voumard Accutron Hallmark and Hunter are all running.  The Hamilton pocket watch runs when I give the barrel a little pressure with my thumb nail.  I'll have to look for a stem to give it a wind.

I'm thinking about taking it down to a watch repair shop to repair since I'm not at that level yet Unless someone here wants to take on the job.

If I got it at a yard sale myself I might; but I certainly wouldn’t risk that with my skill set at this point.

Always wanted an Omega Advisor. But I have no business overhauling one!

The JLC memovox is iconic and highly sought after, I examine it to get an idea of the parts it may need, even a scrap movement for parts wouldn't come cheap.

You didn't show the LeCoultre's movement, that too is collectible, not that bulova 22 jeweler is not collectible and eye catching. Whats inside the Voumard?

I was able to find what case it belonged to but no back.

nice catch....as Nucejoe said, the JLC's is very collectable, I would go for a repair

My plan is to send it to Watch Repairs USA unless one of you can DM me that you can do it or knows someone who can or a reason not to use Watch Repairs USA.  Anyone?

Thanks markr. The movement has an AS look to it.

As for the memovox, you can come up with an estimate of repair cost yourself, this will be useful in choosing the best course of action for repair. First lets find out what parts is your watch missing or needs, since price of part can quickly add up to a forbiding sum in which case you would be better off with a suitable  scrap movement, then what kinda work it needs, if its just a clean and lube and replacing a part or two, you really don't need a master reapirman and can get by with a reasonable figure for the labour.

Just sending it in you might run a risk of a heart attack.

this reminds me of trying to find a "silver pocket watch case repair man"   AND  which one to send it to and trust.  vin

    • Thank you @Mark. I only became a Patreon subscriber 5 or 6 months ago, but I draw so much value here. If you come up with future contribution or support opportunities, I will be on board.
    • Hi Mike I did a ships clock a long while ago, not a Hermle though and without getting the beast in my hands to refresh my memory I can’t recall the timing.  This doesn’t help I know but will start the grey matter turning.
    • Of course it will continue Richard.
    • I have stripped and cleaned a Hermle ships clock. It was just oily, no major faults, and I reassembled it, following my photos in reverse order. The time train is fine but the strike train will not play the ships bell strike for half-past. Ships bells play a four hour sequence for the 'watches' and play double 'ding' for the hour and the double dings plus one for the half past (eg half past the second hour is 'ding-ding' 'ding-ding' 'ding'). Sounds complicated but it isn't really. The strike wheel consists of pairs of bumps (for the ding-ding) and no single bumps. There must me some mechanism on the half-past that lifts the strike lever over one of the bumps so only one ding is played. When I get to a half past, it still plays double ding. I have a feeling it is to do with the lever in front of the rack (there is a sprung attachment  on it) and the position of the wheel (to the right) with the two pins that lets that lever fall, but no matter where I place that wheel I cannot get a single ding at half past! Please can someone help with advice on positioning so I can fix this? BTW Happy Easter 🐣
