Thanks for the welcomes.

I had the chance to do this kind of work over 30yrs ago but didn't see that as a chance at the time, cars, girls, beer, football etc got in the way (not necessarily in that order...), so I'm taking the chance now, and really looking forward to it.

I'm about half way through Mark's excellent Watch Repair course, and along with spending too much money on tools, I've purchased a few watches to tinker with (including a rotary with an FHF 72 movement from a car boot for £2 ? ), and been given a few pieces from my Father in Law.  One of which is a pocket watch, which I'm trying to identify the movement of (no obvious markings on the movement/under the balance or on the dial side apart from a few numbers).  

Which is the correct forum to ask these type of questions?
