2836 day disk

Can anyone offer advice on how to install the day disk on an ETA 2836? I’ve been trying to rotate it on, but it will not go in place.

I have converted some to no-date, but not re-assembled them as day-date (that I recall)...

I try to show you a way to do it.

First make sure the day jumper is in a nice shape and put a small dot of HP-1300 SC on top of it.
The SC is the colorless version of the HP-1300.

Put the day disc in place.

Rotate the disc gently into place. You should feel a small snap when the day jumper goes into place.

Put the Day indicator spring–clip into place, if you don’t the day disc will not stay in place.

Now everything should work fine, put it in the day/date setting position. Turning counter clock wise should change day and clock wise the date.

Does the cover plate extension go under the date jumper maintaining plate? And do I rotate the day disk clockwise. Thanks so much.

Clockwise rotation to put the disc in place is ok.
