hello everyone! my name is Lemuel.. i have a new watch and also my 1st mechanical watch. it's a seagull 1963. I just observed that there is some instances that my watch stops even if the main spring still has enough power in it. most of the time it will happen when I'm wearing it. i tried to open it and i observed that the balance wheel really halted. but if i touch the balance wheel with a tweezer it will continue to work again. what should I do? it happened not only once.

That is a unfortunate, but since it's new you should return it for a refund.

Chinese watches do not gwt spare parts, for this reason and some more most professionals decline to work on them. Maybe with patience you can try somone that will. I recommend that you do not try to repair it yourself.

What is gwt? I Googled "abbreviation gwt" but nothing really useful came up. Perhaps you just misspelled something?
