Which BFG 34 Balance Wheel?

Hi all,

I need a new balance wheel for a BFG 34. CousinsUK stock them, but they are named differently, and Cousins doesn’t show pictures.

They stock:

Balance Complete, Brass Finger, BFG 34 794

Balance Complete, Jewelled Roller, BFG 34 793

Balance Complete, Pin Lever, Shockproof With Finger (794.1), BFG 34

i attach images of mine from the current movement. I don’t understand completely the difference of these 3 types, but my guess is I need the Balance Complete, Jewelled Roller, BFG 34 793. Would you agree, and can you explain the differences?

This one uses a brass finger on the roller table to interface with the pallet fork instead of an impulse jewel.

This one appears to be yours. It has a jewelled impulse pin (no brass finger) but doesn't have any shock protection.

This one is the shock protected version of the brass finger balance.

 

You need BFG 34 793
