Hello all,

My name is Dustin and I got into watch repair over the last year.  I have been through Lessons 1-3 of Mark's classes and practiced a bunch on some old pocket watch movements.  I have started to dive into trying to repair some of the vintage ones that I have that dont run.

I have always enjoyed mechanics and watches, I have fixed everything from Semi's, tractors, cars etc.  I was looking for something new to do so here I am.

Decided to hop on here after running into some issues with an old Bulova 23.  I will post that on the help forum though.  Happy to be here and look forward to talking with y'all.

Thank you for your introduction and welcome to this friendly forum.

Starting on old pocket watches that's the advice I always give there much bigger and very much alike to a watch movement. Just don't touch the fusee pocket watches they are very different.

This might help you.
