I'm looking forward to hanging out and learning from everyone. I live in Utah, USA. I bought my first mechanical watch at a market in Afghanistan, and I've been buying watches ever since. Nothing expensive, but usually with character or a good story behind it. Many of them need service and/or repairs. I like fixing mechanical things -- cars and boats -- and so I don't want to take my watches to someone else. It's time to learn to do this myself.

Welcome! That’s a great motivator, and one of the things that got me in to this as well. However it can quickly turn in to an addiction! ?
