You need to replace the crown as its in pieces. They just screw on and off.

Thanks for all of you,

I am a new one.  My hobby is repaire watch, not a job. I learn the skill from youtube, especially Mark's channel, it helps me a lot. I bought watch from ebay and dissambly it, clean it and reinstall.

This crown is from a Movado lady watch, is a original crown. The watch is very cheap and I don't want to spend too much to find a new original crown. I know in "cousinsuk.com" have this kind dustproof crown, but I want to try my best to fix this original one first.

Thank you.

That is a nice ladies watch movement look after it. I never found a successful reliable way of fixing this type of button when they come apart as your has done. I suppose with the types of glue that are around today you could try gluing it. Other then that I can't think of any other way. In my workshop I would just replace it.

Curious about what is the function of the spring in there.

If the holed cap is so sligtly widened over a stake, it could hold without glue.
