 Hello,

I always struggle with these female stems. They never seem to want to go back in.

Anyone have any tips for a safe stem engagement?

Many thanks. ?

Good thing your watch has removable back so you can see both pieces of the stem.

Put the female slot and male pieces both prependiculare to the case and lower the movement into the case so the male piece drops in the female slot.

I sorted it in the end. It's a very awkward system and not one I hope to do again anytime soon. What helped was a little D5 oil after the fork. It has to slip in to the setting lever otherwise it gets caught. Horrible system!
