Stem removal PUW 243 quartz

I am perplexed.

How do you remove the stem on this???

I did it in an unconventional way...want to do it correctly.

Hi there apparently the release is on the plate below the looped lever and gets pressed down and towards the outside of the case to release the stem, try that.

Here is another PUW movement (a drop in equivalent).  The arrow on the circuit board is the clue.
