Hello!
I'm delighted to find this forum. I'm halfway through Mark's fantastic courses, and I'm enjoying this newfound love of watch repair. I discovered this new hobby by chance--a YouTube auto-play from a "How It's Made" video brought me to Wristwatch Revival, which lead me to Mark's channel, which then lead me to about five others. I have watched all kinds of restoration videos. After my partner asked, "are you watching watches again?" I told him that I was pretty sure I could do this now, so I started tinkering.
I am a college professor and have been teaching online for the past year.  As I have sharpened my online teaching chops, I have also enjoyed learning myself--something entirely outside of my area of research. I am pretty sure I will be asking plenty of this group of people, and I look forward to engaging with all of you.
