This is from a Swedish auction site . It's a nice looking tool . But has anyone any idea what it's for ?

It's a tool used for setting the correct frequency in a balance hairspring. The tool contains a balance of a set frequency that can be set in motion above which the new balance and hairspring is set. The idea is to adjust the new one until it as ciliates at the same frequency of the one in the tool.
