Hi all,

my name is Enrico, I'm Italian but I'm living in Mallorca since 2013.

One year ago youtube algorithm served me a video from A. Lange & Söhne describing how their perpetual calendar works.

From that day I started looking at watches in a different way. A week ago I enrolled Mike's courses and now I'm waiting to start my very first project.

What am I waiting for? Well, the courier with my tools...eheh

I'm sure I will need your help, so thanks a lot in advance for being kind.

Ciao!

Thanks a lot!

Well, I found 3 watches in a little second hand market in here.

One is a Swiss made automatic of a brand named Kowal. No further information found about it, a part an address..

Than I got an old Orient, again, very few information about it..but I have to say I didn't look too much.

Last is a Citizen 64-4838, with a 6900 movement that I bought to gift to my fiance if I'll be able to service it.

All of them are working, but they need a very good service. I got them for 60€ in total. I attach some photos of them.

Then, speaking about tools, it took me a while to find some dealer in Europe. But finally I got basic lubricants from moebius in Eternal tools and a flume screwdrivers set, hands tools and gaskets from watch-tools.de

I think I will start either from the orient or the Kowal because the citizen is very small and it have some "tricky stuff" such as the fast date setting pulling out the crown stem.

We'll see 🙂

LOL.  I started with two WW lathes.  Now I have five--don't ask.

I got another cannon pinion puller even though I have one...a very good one.

Pulled another screw plate off of ebay the other day.

I just love tools--fine tools.

Oh...and additional two watch benches!!!

OK...I will shut up now.
