Hello, great info. I have one of these watches with the Marvin movement.

the Crystal has turned yellow due to age. My question is can this be changed easily the dial is in excellent condition it’s a pity to hide.

regards John

You can easily polish an acrylic crystal using toothpaste, perhaps with a bit of backing soda. Replacing is normally advisable only when it's cracked, also because most collectors appreciate full originality and patina.

BTW, we have a section here where it's considered polite for new members to introduce themselves first.

Hi and welcome to the forum,   In addition to jdm's Baking soda/toothpaste the use uf Jewelr's rouge and chrome polish (Autosolvol) will do the job it just needs the application of elbowgrease. and time.

Hello. Thanks for the information. I will try the autosolvol. Just as a introduction I am a 76 year old who has a collection of many watches mostly mechanical. I do collect quite a few trench watches. I blame my father for my  for my interest in clocks and watches. He gave me his retirement watch and my grandfathers pocket watch plus his mantle clock all still running well. Take care all. John.
