I have started re-pinning Rolex jubilee bracelets but have encountered difficulties with replacement

of the new knurled pins. I have carefully measured the diameter and length of the old pins to compare with the new ones.

When I offered up a new pin I found the diameter of the end knurled part was way too small to fit snugly into

the hole which the old pin had left. Seems like I need a pin with an outsize knurled end.

I would be most grateful for advice on how to fix this problem or point me toward a solution.

Thank you

The pins are probably generic not the genuine article.  Have a check with cousins uk watch parts, they are material suppliers in the UK If they haven't got them they may be able to either source some or tell you where to get them.
