Watch for repair project

Hi to all!

I want to start a new project, but i'm not sure about what watch to buy.

Wich can be a Seiko chrono that doesn't cost much, but when is repaired it's worth it?

I was thinking at the 6139, what model has the right characteristics?

Check out the 404 Club. 

I tend to avoid Japanese watches personally (no real reason, just preference), but I see a bazillion... Maybe two bazillion Seikos, Citizens, Orients, etc. for every European made watch that crosses my radar. Should be able to find all sorts of good project watches for real cheap, fix them up, then sell them for a small profit.
