Hi all,

I'm new to the forum & would greatly appreciate any guidance as to locating a spare part for my vintage circa late 1960's Avia Marino Divers Watch (model number 23758 3).

Unfortunately I fell off my bicycle & damaged the the watch, I've managed to replace the glass but can't find a suitable bezel.

Can any members suggest an alternative bezel that would fit my watch or an organization that supplies bespoke parts.

There is no "database of suitable bezels". If it is a plastic bezel as with many affordable watches of that vintage sold under various labels (we can't know, since you had posted no picture as it is necessary for most questions), then that has been asked before, in the end people either looks on Ebay or have a new bezel 3D printed. Being this a casing part, caliber number will not help and is pretty much guaranteed not to be sold anymore, if it ever was in first place.

Have you lost the bezel or is it because it is damaged, and if so how badly?

You will struggle to find a genuine replacement without buying a complete watch, and you'll have fun finding one at a reasonable price. If you still have the original then depending on how badly damaged it is it may be worth approaching one of the companies that specialise in case restoration (Google vintage watch case restoration) but again it is likely to be expensive.

Many thanks to members for responses to my question, unfortunately I don't have the original bezel as the bicycle accident was quite traumatic at the time, however attached photo is of an identical watch.

Is it possible to buy a bezel with an internal diameter of approximately 32 mm so as to go over the glass & simply stick it in place (I realize that it won't be able to move but at least 'appearance wise' it would be acceptable).

I do have other time pieces (in particular a Rolex Sub-Mariner) but the Avia Marino has great sentimental value as it is the first watch I ever owned.
