Bezel restoration Brevet 503.305 case

Research indicates that this case is used on some nice watches.  The bezel comes off the ring without much effort.

Do dial refinishers also do bezels?  I cannot imagine doing this myself.  Of course I could leave it as is.  It contains a nice vintage quartz movement.

There are a few ebay sellers of bezel inserts. Take measurements and you might just be lucky. The case looks like a brushed steel style finish which is also possible to smarten up.

it is non-integer: 37.37mm OD, 31.29 ID.  I will keep looking...maybe find the case on a junker.

The dial and handset on that are fantastic.  It'll be a stunner when it's all done.
