Hello,

At the risk of making myself look ridiculous, I come with what I hope is a simple problem! I recently received a set of five old watches from my dad when he learned I'd got interested in maintaining and playing with them - nothing special and no problems with taking them apart and not being able to put them back again! One is a 'Harola' watch which I got intrigued by - I can't find any info at all really on the brand. I wanted to open it up and take the movement apart, but I can't see an obvious 'push' button for the removal of the crown. I've not experienced a different way of removing the crown and wondered if anyone could advise? Picks of the watch and the movement attached.

Many sincere thanks in advance for your time in reading this,

Andrew 'Rockpenguin' King

It'll probably be the small screw very near the stem. Push button releases are more modern. Pull on the crown whilst unscrewing so that you don't completely disengage it from the setting lever.

AS and FHF both made movements with this tyoe of bridge layout. Loosen the little screw close to the stem by 1/5 turn to pull the stem out.

Good luck
