Retired, now back in Scotland after 37 years in Africa and 'oh-boy' its sure cold here....any-roads, thanks for having me. 

Started 'tinkering' with a few old watches as a hobby earlier this year and wish I'd started decades ago. But here I am, finding my way, learning slowly, finding 'challenges' everywhere and totally enjoying every fascinating aspect of 'Watch Tinkering for Dummies'. 

Looking forward to being a new member.

Hi Ron, 

  I've seen pictures of Scotish sceneries online, think its a piece of heaven on earth , hope to visit there first chance I get.
