Greetings - I have a 1980's Tag Heuer ( ETA 918.113 movement) that is running unbelievably fast after a recent battery change.  The watch had been sitting in a drawer for a few years with a dead battery.   I recently developed an interest in watches, so I thought I'd break it out and get it running again.   I did read a similar post about someone in a similar situation.   I'm curious if he resolved the issue?    I know a little bit about electronics and there were some very interesting discussions in that dialog.

Always nice if you would post a picture of the movement just in case we don't recognize the part number.

Then there's a bit of a confusion? Confusions come about if I Google your movement number and see what it is I might find a link like this one

Confusion because your movement number at least in this discussion appears to be a different number?

Fortunately I would know how the story turns out just replace the circuit. That is if you can find one.
