Single calligraphy letter on watch face

I was given a battery operated, ornate, women’s watch with a single calligraphy written letter on it’s face.  Perhaps “F” or “J”   Please help identify the watchmaker

Greetings!  I can safely say that the most helpful thing for this case will be to post a picture, as high a resolution as possible.  If you can also open the back and take a picture of the movement, it often helps as well.  From there, we can often tell much.
