Seller claims this to be a real Tudor, is it?

Listing says condition new, price about €7,500. Ask about set and certificate (not that these aren't counterfeited as well).

The watch in the picture could be genuine but what you receive might not be. Is it a reputable website?

The website is not the seller, but its policy give the buyer a 24 hr leeway to return, nevertheless its not a purchase with confidence.

Thanks J ,   the difference of $7500 and asking price for this item is suspecious, I think I'll pass this one.

My mistake, asking price is about €250, that is low even for a supercopy.

A genuine pre-owned Black Bay starts at about €1,500.

This is suppose to be new, unused. I think I just pass on this, sellers advert is suspecious.

I have a soft spot for chrongrade movements.

Thanks for your help Jdm.

Sounds dodgy. There were websites that advertise real items but send fakes. My friend suggested a website to me years ago selling The North Face clothing slightly cheaper than the high street (only by 10 or 20%) but I did a little digging and found that it was a front for counterfeit goods. The website didn't feel right to me but I using a pc, many people these days only use their phone or tablet to buy things making it much easier to be fooled... unless google et al have clamped down on these sort of sites?

Unless it's a company I trust I only use PayPal. Had my fingers burnt on AliExpress too, I'll never trust that company again.

Its a replica folks,  powered by ETA2836-2, probably Asian made ETA.  New MSRP is $ 649.

Brand new genuine Tudor costs aprx 7K .

I see your point.

In this case though, replica is exact look alike of the genuine piece.

Sorry to seem pedantic, but replica, clone, etc are euphemisms used by some to not spell fake or counterfeit. Let's not be  apologetic about crime and deception and just call things for what they are.

Looking at the luminous dots I would say its a fake they are not in the center.

Dots are well centered, but pictures taken from a slight angle can make them look as they aren't.

This fake belongs to the so called superclone class, with the improving in tooling these are made to fool anyone and it take a real expert to tell, after looking at the mov.t as well.

Have a look at the video below

I can't understand a bloody word.

I have put a video in English now. Be aware that a fake bought now can easily be better than one reviewed just one year ago, because counterfeiters check these popular videos as well and improve on the points noted.

Thanks jdm very interesting. Without having the genuine watch it is very hard to spot the difference and you certainly need to handle it. A photo is utterly useless.

Thank you jdm.

Does  MT5402  tick the same as ordinary ETA2836 ?

Seller claimed not having a timegrapher, I am not sure if the two are decernable on TG anyway.

It does as it's the same mov.t. But what's the point of discussing that, it's clear since the first post that it's fake.

Ture! this one is fake, however the question remains how to tell a genuine from a rep.

Better ampilutde with less positional variation is expected from a luxury brand  chronograde MT5402 (COSC), I  don't believe eta2836 in fakes are chronograde, so been thinkning if on TG , one can tell the two movements apart.
