Bulkhead type clock

I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea where this might have serviced it life, on a boat a ship or aircraft. 

It's a good quality English made 8 day timepiece. 

I made the case a few years ago so I could use it.

Hi The fact that its a bulkhead clock and madin in england a d white dial I would guess that it a marine clock likley made by smiths.

Known as a Ships clock could be a Smiths or an Elliot is my guess. 8 day duration with platform escapement which can have a fully jeweled escapement or just part.
