Hi all,

new member to the forum, like today new.

I started out in the watch collecting hobby as a 10 yr old boy watching goldfinger with Sean Connery. The beginning of the movie where he uses his lighter to check the time on his rolex 6538.

from this moment on I was a watch lover.

My grandfather also had a 6426 Rolex oyster precision on an oyster bracelet. He would wear in to a wedding in a suit or when he was in his vegetable garden. It was his “one and done” but more on that soon. So between these to watches plus my father’s seiko 6105-8110 I was destined to be a WIS. whenever I was out with my dad I was always asking for a watch which he would from time to time buy me the of Casio or I would get his seiko hand me downs for his seiko 5 work watches.

eventually I was able to start buying and selling watches and went through quite a few pieces in a small amount of time. Omegas like the SMP300, deville F300 htz, seamaster 1960’s automatic, Rolex 6694, Hamilton’s, UG etc.

I eventually was able to determine my taste in watches. Vintage was for me, you can’t get the history and style of the old pieces. So I began to collect.

these are my current pieces.

I had a gold C shape Connie before and sold it. This is its replacement. Both were chronometer spec movements but this is the 1021 day date. I like the blue too.
