Hello,

can anyone please share a tech sheet or manual for Timex Electric with 807 on the plate?

I am trying to make sense out of a bunch of parts that just fell out when I took it apart. Apparently, crystal must be removed in order to take the whole movement out;(

Any information of how to date this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

It looks very much akin to a Timex Electric I just worked on.  You should be able to pull it up among my more recent posts.  The numbers on a Timex that will be most useful can be found printed on the lower edge of the dial, at 6:00.  Post those here and we will be able to help you learn more.
As to "807", I think that may be the part number for that plate.  And I am a bit concerned that I do not see the balance and coil amount the other parts in the picture.  At a glance I think you may be missing a couple things, unless they simply didn't make it into that particular picture.

@watchweasol - a quick follow-up question. Am I looking at a broken pivot here? I almost assumed that much, until I put back the shunt bridge and a battery, as the video shows it came to life! Changing a pivot on this type of movement seems near impossible, so I wonder.

That looks ok    If you take to pieces one with the V Conic pivots you will understand the thinking behind the timex design, robust. fine pivots break easily. the timex boast was "It lakes a licking but keeps on ticking"  and whats more they did.

I concur also; it looks ok to me.  Below is the one I just servicing.  The pivots looked the same to me, and mine keeps amazing time for an old Timex.  If yours is now running smoothly and evenly with no wobble, then it's just a matter of regulating.  They're rugged old beasts, capable of shrugging off punishment that would cripple a more fragile movement.

    • Thanks for the question. Absolutely nothing has changed in that regard. As you know, I have a points system set-up on the watchfix site and points accrued will never be removed unless used by the user who owns them.
    • Ok, an update. I've attached some pics showing the dimensions of the crystal in question.  As you can see it's quite thick at 4.9mm. I haven't found a decent match yet with GS catalog, I may end up having to grab a few that are close and apply trial/error at this point. Any recommendations from some of you with a heavy vintage Bulova background would be appreciated. p.s. The bezel is in good shape but would not turn at all.  Were these bezels fixed?  It did come off after soaking it a while, along with a rubber gasket inside, which makes me believe it is supposed to turn and is held in place by a thick o-ring (?). Thanks.
    • hello from minnesota, love to tinker with stuff, im 40, getting more stubborn lol, issues arise when i could pay someone to fix something for me,but i just never do it. always learning new skills
    • I damaged this watch years ago in a hot tub, took it apart and let it dry pretty quickly. but i am trying to repair it again and the second hand keeps stopping i finally pushed it past its stuck point on the 13 to 15 second point. it keeps time for 3 to 4 minutes , then jams again and it skips back and forth then stops and the minute hand stops moving with the seconds. not sure if its corrosion or the coil is bad. i cannot find another ronda 5030d with the same dials  i would like to buy a repair kit on amazon if i can clean corrosion or replace the coils. but pretty since its a rare battlefield game watch id love to fix it. also my favorite game. https://imgur.com/a/0QWwRIS
