hi, i have a 1882 swiss cylinder watch with some issues !.

3rd wheel bridge jewel smashed - will look for a complete bridge online.

hairspring had snaped just at the securung pin  - i put that back in as best i could but understand i wont see how good that repair is until its working.

Main issue is i dont appear to have these two parts :  this image is the same as mine but i dont have those parts !.

can anyone tell me if i need them or if they are an "adon" for a slightly different watch.

That is the maltese cross and finger, the stopworks. They limit the number of turns of wind to 4 turns in this example. Watch and clockmakers of the past often discarded them as they couldn't be bothered to reinstall them, and probably consoled themselves for this evil act by saying it increased the power reserve. The likelihood of finding replacements is slim, even if you have a box with hundreds of different ones in it. The watch will still run, just not as intended.
