Hello all - I am a new member here.  I hail from Idaho and where I live there are very few helps for watch collectors.  I have gotten in to learning how to change watch batteries on my quartz watches and really enjoy doing my own work.  I collect everything from cheapie quartz/solars  to mid-range expensive mechanicals  I am getting pretty competent on changing batteries without losing stuff or botching up the case/movements now still a bit hesitant to undertake anything too serious with my mechanicals, but would like to learn to do my own cleaning/oiling maintenance service one day.

Welcome to the forum Mason.

I am quite sure you will find a lot of experience on here as well as the courses run by Mark Lovick. Link should be on this page. Everyone that has done them have only good things to say.
