Just wanted to say hello, I appreciate all the helpful advice here and look forward to interacting with you all.

I think what I like best about the hobby is the troubleshooting aspect, I like figuring out why a watch isn't running or why it's not running right.  I have a lot to learn about technique (I lost an incabloc spring today) and improving my skills, that's why I'm here!

Hello and welcome to the forum.  When removing parts that are likely to take flight either do it inside of a large clear plastic bag with the end cut off for access or hold the part with a bit of rodico.  the bag limits its flight area  and the Rodico being tacky has a temporary hold on it.
