Heuer Daytona Crystal replacement

Can someone give advice on the proper way to remove the crystal and tach ring from a vintage Heuer Daytona? Also, source for replacement crystal?

If it's a common shape as flat or flat domed pretty much any online supplier including Ebay and AliExpress.
