I've done that. I have the clamps, but sometimes they just don't fit, ha ha.

The clamps are there but still the wheel wants to push away from the pivot.  But, I like your idea of using zip ties for clamps!

So you use them for clamps/retainers then.  That is good to know.  They are much thinner thus avoiding obstructions.

Yes I use this idea, I still use the clamps to hold the springs but like you I found that the great wheel tilts and won’t align to the intermediate wheel. So using tiewraps to pull the great wheel over into position is a gift👍
