Hello from Cumbria.

I have a couple of quartz watches that i want to repair, i've watched the videos, ordered some tools that came today, i've gone for a mixture of Burgeon and value range to getting me going with out needing a mortgage in the event i don't get into it.

I have questions regarding my first movement strip down and rebuild that the online videos don't cover, now that my tools have arrived i'm starting to get cold feet thinking if i start will i remember what part goes where, will i be able to put it back together once i've taken it apart.

Thanks Mark

Welcome to WRT, Mark.

Reassembly of a quartz gear train can be a little tricky as some of the parts can be really small.

Take plenty of photos, remove parts in groups and keep them together in compartment trays. Try not to mix up the screws. Do rush anything and take plenty of breaks.

Good luck and enjoy!
